Loretta A. Harris (right) is the latest winner of Patrick Henry Community College’s Student Success Award. Ophelia Griggs, tutor coordinator and counselor for Student Support Services, nominated Harris for her extensive community service hours, participation as an active Road Scholar member, and her academic efforts. She is a non-traditional student studying early childhood education with a 3.7 grade point average. She routinely participates in events to raise money for special needs children and needy families, and she was recently approved to volunteer in public schools.
