Staff from the financial aid office will help prospective and current students complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 academic years. Cindy Keller, coordinator for financial aid at PHCC, said staff members will be able to assist students in linking their taxes with the IRS.
To be sure that PHCC can help, Keller said students’ need to bring their 2012 taxes for the 2013-2014 summer FAFSA, and/or their 2013 taxes for the 2014-2015 school year.
“The purpose of this workshop is to provide assistance in completing their FAFSA to ensure prompt awarding of their aid prior to the semester beginning,” Keller said. “Of course, we will be available to answer any questions and assist in any other way needed, but completing a FAFSA is our main goal.”
