 Patrick Henry Community College has seven career studies certificates in CRAFTS, which include Stained Glass, Fine Woodworking, Pottery, Decorative Painting, Weaving, Quilting, and Metalworking (See Career Studies Certificates). These classes are offered at PHCC School of Crafts and Design, 34 W. Church Street, Martinsville.
To enhance the success of these programs, PHCC is partnering with an international network of 14 colleges called CraftNet. CraftNet members work together to strengthen education, training programs, and services for creative-based enterprises. The projects at each college integrate various aspects of design, production, technologies, marketing, collaboration, and business management skills.
