Mission Statement
The primary purpose for the IATCC is to promote active curricular and course selection, decision making, lifelong learning, and career development skills. Key services provided through the Center include computerized placement testing, academic counseling, online services for career exploration, online resources for career development, online job posting, and retention services such as faculty-based Early Warning Program, Peer/Faculty Mentoring, and development of career and transfer specific courses aimed at "reality counseling" related to transfer and career planning issues. The IATCC staff also provides assessment tools for career interest, personality characteristics and other special concerns.
