Dual Enrollment

Patrick Henry Community College offers dual enrollment courses for high school juniors and seniors allowing students to fulfill high school requirements while simultaneously receiving college credit. This allows students a head start while greatly reducing expenses and the time required to complete college. They become familiar with the rigors of college level courses and have access to all PHCC campus resources. Students registering for dual enrolment classes must meet the same admission and course requirements as other PHCC students. And, best of all - Patrick Henry Community College partners with Henry County, Patrick County, and City of Martinsville to offer this opportunity at no cost to students!

Classes offered for dual enrollment include transferable classes such as English, history, government, biology, and math. PHCC also offers career and technical classes including: administration of justice, agri-business, automotive and autobody, building trades, computer aided drafting (CADD), culinary arts, early childhood education, electricity, firefighting/EMS, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), horticulture, and motorsports.
