PHCC was named to the annual “Best for Vets” college list compiled by the Military Times Edge magazine, a publication of the Gannett company. PHCC was recognized as one of the nation’s best “career and technical colleges” for educating military veterans. The list was compiled after participating schools completed a survey featuring nearly 150 questions. The questions covered topics such as support services, academic policies and financial aid beneficial to student veterans. More than 650 schools participated in the survey, and the magazine created four “best of” rankings based on school characteristics, such as “four-year colleges” and “career and technical colleges.”

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED and GET INFORMED
Starting college can be challenging and a time that may require some adjustments. Connecting with other veterans on campus can make the transition less stressful. We are working on ways to offer veterans opportunities to meet on campus and join together for camaraderie, peer support, projects, and more.
