Admissions and Records

PHCC is user friendly! There are a variety of resources available to all students at PHCC. Counselors and advisors are available to help you decide on courses and programs of study.

Individuals are eligible for admission to PHCC if they are high school graduates or the equivalent, or if they are eighteen years of age or older and able to benefit from study at the college. Dual enrollment students will be admitted according to the provisions in the current Virginia Plan for Dual Enrollment. Other persons not meeting these admission criteria may apply to the college for special consideration for admittance.

Free Tutoring is available to all PHCC students. To arrange for tutoring, visit Student Support Services on the second floor of the Learning Resource Center (LRC). PHCC's award-winning Student Support Services offers a comprehensive program for students with disabilities.
